Labor Day in Atlanta

Well now that it's been almost a month ago, I thought I would share with you the fantastic trip that mom and I took with the kids over Labor Day. We went down to Atlanta to visit with Kimmy, Ken, Shannon and Maya. And needless to say, we had fun, fun, fun!

I drove down to mom's house on Friday so we could leave for Atlanta first thing Saturday morning. The kids always love being at Nanny's house so it was great way to start our trip.

When we got ther on Saturday, we headed out to this wildlife reserve where you can pet and feed the animals. It sounds like a glorified petting zoo, but I had no idea how fun it would be. The animals literally walked out and around with us.

How fun is that?!

This pig was so huge and so fat, and Caroline wasn't scared at all. She went right up to him and was even trying to steal his food. My big girl!

Okay, you might not find this as funny as we did, but this donkey just about made us pee our pants we were laughing so hard. Maybe you had to be there, but it was hi-lar-i-ous!!

On Sunday, we of course went to church and spent alot of time out on the porch swing. Jackson and Caroline loved it. I spent some time out there with them and mom did as well. Jackson also loved ringing all of Auntie Kimmy's wind chimes. It was just a nice relaxong day. Sometimes just getting away, even if you don't do much, makes for the best vacations!

On Monday morning, the two girls took a bath together, which is always fun, and then spent some time playing before we headed out the door.

Thank you Regans for letting us invade your home again. It was so good to see everybody!!!

We made great time getting home and when we got home our neighbors invited us over for a cook out. It was a great weekend!
